PDP Demands 100% Loyalty, Warns Against Anti-party Activities

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has emphasized the need for 100% loyalty from its members and warned against engaging in anti-party activities. The PDP's national publicity secretary, Debo Ologunagba, stated during a press briefing in Abuja that the party is focused on unity and readiness for the 2023 general election.

Ologunagba highlighted the party's commitment to enforcing rules against disloyalty, with possible sanctions including suspension or expulsion. He reassured that recent defections would not weaken the PDP, as efforts are underway to reclaim lost seats.

The party is preparing for its national convention in November, promising a transparent process that prioritizes internal democracy. Ologunagba emphasized the PDP's dedication to unseating the APC in 2023 and reiterated the party's focus on the welfare of citizens over personal interests.
