PDP Faction Holds NEC Meeting, Adopts 2027 Primaries Schedule

The faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) held its 108th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, where members deliberated on various issues concerning the party's internal structure and reforms. The meeting concluded with the adoption of a timetable for the 2027 election preparations, including the nomination forms for primary elections, ensuring full compliance with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines.

The NEC also emphasized the importance of ongoing electronic membership registration and modernizing the party's database to enhance transparency and boost grassroots participation. Nysem Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), declared the faction's authenticity in conducting activities at the party's national secretariat located at Wadata Plaza.

Abdulrahman Muham, the faction's national chairman, expressed confidence in the party's ability to navigate its internal challenges while aligning with the provisions of the electoral act and relevant INEC guidelines.
