PDP Faction Warns Against Takeover of National Secretariat by Expelled Members

The Tanimu Turaki-led faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a warning regarding the potential takeover of the party's national secretariat by expelled members. The faction, through its National Publicity Secretary, Ini Ememobong, raised concerns about expelled members attempting to gain access to the secretariat unlawfully.

The statement emphasized that any attempt to occupy the secretariat would be met with strong legal action. The faction highlighted that the matter is currently before the Federal High Court in Abuja and the Court of Appeal.

The statement stressed that resorting to self-help in such a situation would undermine the legal process. The faction also reminded that the police have a role in maintaining law and order in the matter.

The PDP faction expressed its commitment to defending its properties through legal means and warned against any aggression or damage to its assets.
