PDP Govs Condemn ‘Over-Militarisation’ Of By-Elections

The PDP Governors' Forum has strongly criticized what they describe as the 'over-militarization' of recent by-elections. In a communiqué issued at the end of their meeting in Gusau, Zamfara State, the PDP governors accused the ruling Progressives Federal Government of using excessive security deployment to manipulate the electoral process in their favor.

The Chairman of the Forum, Governor Bala Muhammad of Bauchi State, expressed gratitude to PDP members and supporters for their loyalty during the polls and urged Nigerians to remain vigilant in protecting their votes in future elections. The communiqué also reiterated the opposition's commitment to resisting the actions of the APC government.

The PDP Governors' Forum reaffirmed their resolutions from a previous meeting on November 15, emphasizing the need for a fair electoral process.
