PDP, LP Seek Nullification of Adamawa By-election Results

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) are seeking the nullification of the Ganye State Constituency by-election in Adamawa State. They challenged the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Misa Musa, declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The petitioners alleged non-compliance with the Electoral Act and requested the tribunal to invalidate the election results due to electoral malpractice. The PDP and LP candidates, Buba Joda and Benjamin Brandford, filed separate petitions urging the tribunal to declare the election results invalid and order a re-election in the constituency.
