Tinubu's Ex-Aide Backs Oyebanji for Second Term

Ibrahim Olarewaju, a former senior special assistant to President Bola Tinubu and an APC chieftain, has publicly endorsed Governor Biodun Oyebanji for a second term in office in Ekiti State. During a discussion in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday, Olarewaju highlighted the peace, infrastructure development, and investment initiatives that characterize Oyebanji's administration.

He emphasized that Oyebanji deserves a second term, especially in a time when elections are just two months away, and the state has recently experienced violence. Olarewaju noted that Oyebanji has successfully fostered peace in Ekiti, which is essential for business and community success.

He also mentioned ongoing infrastructure projects as evidence of the dividends of peace. Additionally, Olarewaju, who is seeking a return ticket to the House of Representatives for the Ido Osi, Moba, and Ilejemeje federal constituency in the 2027 elections, expressed his commitment to improving the constituency and ensuring the welfare of its people.
