Nigerian Pensioners Plan Nationwide Naked Protests Over Unpaid Increments

The Coalition of Federal Pension Nigeria announced plans for nationwide naked protests to demand the payment of outstanding pension increments and arrears. The protests are scheduled for December 8 if the government fails to meet their demands.

Despite the government's approval of a 2023 pension increment, pensioners, particularly in Lagos and Ogun State, remain unpaid. The protests will target various locations, including federal capital Lagos and state offices, urging leaders and members of pension-affiliated organizations to mobilize nationwide.
