Peoples Media Limited Announces New Leadership Appointments

Peoples Media Limited has announced the appointment of Alhaji Maharazu Ahm as Managing Director, alongside Messr Egena Sundai Od and Lateef Folorunso Ibrahim as editors for the Peoples Daily Newspaper. This decision was made by the board to reposition the company’s flagship paper and meet stakeholder expectations.

Alhaji Maharazu brings over three decades of experience in the journalism industry, having previously served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief at the New Agency Nigeria (NAN). He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History from Bayero University, Kano.

His career began in the Katsina State Government House and included roles at the Katsina State Ministry of Information and various positions at NAN, including correspondent and senior special assistant to the media for the Katsina State Governor. Messr Egena Sundai Od holds a BA and a Master's degree in English from Obafemi Awolowo University and the University of Lagos, respectively.

Lateef Folorunso Ibrahim graduated in Mass Communication from Ogun State Polytechnic and obtained a law degree from the National Open University of Nigeria.
