Peter Mbah Becomes New Chairman of Progressive Governors Forum

Peter Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State, has emerged as the new Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), replacing Hope Uzodinma, the Governor of Imo State. This decision was reached during a special meeting of governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) that took place on Thursday night in Abuja.

The meeting was attended by approximately 20 APC governors and was described as a closed-door gathering. The forum aims to strengthen inter-state collaboration among APC governors to foster development.

Folorunso Aluko, the Director General of the forum, denied circulating reports claiming that Uzodinma had been removed from his position, stating that no such meeting or resolution had occurred.
