Obi recalled President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's campaign promise to provide steady electricity within four years, asserting that the current administration has failed to meet this commitment. The plan to transition the presidential villa to solar energy has gained attention following the 2025 budget allocation and further allocations for 2026 aimed at upgrading and maintaining power infrastructure.
