Sowore Claims Obi and Mohammed Are Not True Opposition

In an interview in Abuja, Sowore, the former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), stated that Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, and Bala Mohammed, the governor of Bauchi State, should not be considered opposition politicians. Sowore criticized the notion that Mohammed could defect from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), labeling the current political alliances as corrupt and ineffective.

He emphasized that both Obi and Mohammed are part of the corrupt establishment, which undermines their credibility as opposition figures. Sowore further rejected claims that he had misrepresented support during the 2023 electoral cycle, asserting that the current political landscape, including figures like Nyesom Wike, the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, does not differ significantly from the APC or the PDP.
