Alex Otti Challenges Soludo on Peter Obi's Debt Claims

Abia State Governor Alex Otti has publicly challenged Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo to disclose the debts attributed to Peter Obi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, regarding the financial controversies from Obi's tenure as governor. During an interview with Arise Television, Otti referenced a piece he wrote on June 8, 2020, titled "Prudence Over Profligacy," where he highlighted Obi's management of $155 million.

Otti stated that his account demonstrated the possibility of prudent governance, emphasizing that Soludo's allegations do not negate his previous assertions. He recounted advising Obi to convert funds from naira to dollars to preserve value, which he claims was a prudent decision.

Otti reiterated that the Soludo administration's claims do not invalidate his statements or the financial legacy left by Obi and urged the Anambra State Government to publish any debts if they exist.
