Abdullahi Calls Obi, Kwankwaso's ADC Exit a "Glitch"

Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), characterized the recent departure of former presidential candidates Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso from the party as a "glitch." During an interview on Arise Television's morning show, Abdullahi attributed their exit to internal political wrangling and ongoing court cases. He reaffirmed the ADC's commitment to addressing the deteriorating governance in Nigeria and strengthening multi-party democracy.

Meanwhile, Obika, a member of the House of Representatives from the Amac/Bwari Federal Constituency, retained his seat in the 2023 elections on the Labour Party platform, despite the prolonged internal crisis within the ADC. Abdullahi urged opposition politicians to collaborate for future elections, emphasizing the importance of unity in the face of political challenges.
