Peter Obi Defects to ADC, Calls for Real Leadership in Nigeria

Former Vice Presidential candidate Peter Obi has officially defected from the Labour Party to the African Democrat Congress (ADC) in Enugu State. Obi, a prominent political leader in the South East geopolitical zone, emphasized the necessity for genuine leadership to rescue Nigeria from its current distress.

He called for opposition members to unite under the ADC umbrella to address the country's challenges. Other notable figures who defected alongside Obi include David Mark, Achik Udenwa, and Okwesiliez Nwodo.

The move signals a significant shift in the political landscape ahead of the 2023 elections.
