APC Claims Peter Obi Seeks Unchallenged Presidential Ticket

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has made remarks regarding Peter Obi's recent exit from the African Democratic Congress (ADC), suggesting that he is in search of a free and uncontested presidential ticket. APC spokesman Felix Morka expressed these views in a statement, indicating that Obi's political journey resembles that of a "rolling stone that gathers no moss." He noted that even within political alliances, individuals like Obi sometimes encounter unexpected opposition and criticism.

Morka clarified that Obi's decision to leave ADC was not influenced by personal issues with party leaders, including David Mark and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. He also highlighted that internal disputes and legal challenges within parties can influence such exits, drawing parallels to earlier challenges faced within the Labour Party.

Morka reaffirmed his belief in the leadership's service and stressed the need for power to uplift others, dismissing suggestions that Obi's actions were driven by personal ambition.
