Peter Obi's Ally and Ex-Lawmaker in Anambra Defects from APC to ADC, Citing Poor Leadership

Lawrence Ezeudu, a former chief whip and ex-lawmaker representing Dunukofia Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, has left the APC to join the ADC. Ezeudu, a supporter of Peter Obi's 2023 presidential bid, highlighted deepening crises and poor leadership within the APC at the local and state levels as reasons for his defection.

He made his decision public in a letter addressed to the ADC chairman of Ifitedunu Ward 2 in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State. Ezeudu expressed his commitment to aligning his political convictions with the ADC, believing it offers better opportunities to serve his constituents in Anambra South-East Nigeria.

He emphasized the need for effective political participation and criticized the APC's internal divisions and leadership issues. Ezeudu's move signifies a strategic shift towards supporting Peter Obi's political ambitions through the ADC platform.
