Peter Ozuma Elected New Action Alliance Chairman in Ebonyi

Peter Ozuma has emerged as the new chairman of the Action Alliance (AA) in Ebonyi State after a peaceful congress held in Abakaliki. The congress, which was described as credible and orderly by the chairman of the electoral committee, Alex Ez, resulted in the formation of a 23-member state executive committee.

Ozuma expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and articulated an ambitious electoral roadmap targeting 85 percent of the vote in the upcoming elections. He emphasized the party's commitment to social justice and grassroots inclusion, aiming to redefine people-centric policies.

Ozuma also acknowledged dissatisfaction with the party's performance at the national level while recognizing efforts at the state level under Governor Franci Ogbonna Nwifuru. The congress was monitored by officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies, ensuring a peaceful process.

John Ugbo was elected as the state secretary during this congress.
