Kwankwasiyya Movement Demands Probe into PFIPC Budget Allocation

The Kwankwasiyya Movement has demanded a thorough investigation into the alleged allocation of 1 billion Naira to a non-existent agency, the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), in Nigeria's 2026 national budget. Spokesperson Habibu Sale described the unfolding controversy as a serious test of the credibility and transparency of the federal government.

Despite the President denying the existence of PFIPC, the movement insists that the issue transcends individual misconduct and raises fundamental questions about public accountability. They argue that Nigerians are entitled to know how public funds are managed and that the administration of President Bola Tinubu must provide a comprehensive account of the budgetary process.

The movement warns that any attempt to shift responsibility will deepen public distrust and undermine Nigeria's credibility among foreign investors. They have called on the National Assembly and anti-corruption agencies to conduct an independent investigation into the matter to promote transparency and accountability.
