Engr. Elvi Osung Donates N10m to Akwa Ibom University

Engr. Elvi Osung, a prominent philanthropist, donated N10 million to Akwa Ibom State University to support educational advancement.

This donation was announced during his first public lecture at the Faculty of Social Sciences on the Obio Akpa Campus in Oruk Anam LGA, held on Thursday. The lecture focused on the theme of philanthropy as a catalyst for educational advancement and community development.

Osung expressed his delight at the increasing role of philanthropic donations in addressing societal challenges, particularly in the context of current global trends. He highlighted the importance of aligning philanthropic interventions with local needs and urged other philanthropists to engage with communities and leverage local expertise.
