INEC Recognizes New PDP NWC Members Following Convention

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has updated its records to recognize Abdulrahman and Anyanwu, among others, as members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). This recognition follows the party's national convention held on Sunday at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

The convention resulted in the emergence of Abdulrahman as the National Chairman and Anyanwu as the National Secretary of the PDP. The announcement was made public on Monday through an update on INEC's website, which also included the names of other key positions within the party, such as the National Treasurer and National Financial Secretary.

The convention was attended by various party loyalists, including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, who played a significant role in the proceedings.
