Wike-Backed PDP Faction Re-Elects Abdulrahman Chairman

The faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) supported by Nyesom Wike has re-elected Abdulrahman as the National Chairman. The election took place in Nasarawa State, North Central Zone, where a new National Working Committee (NWC) was formed through consensus.

Aaron Chukwuemeka was elected as the Deputy National Chairman for the South, while Yusufu Nyakiriken emerged as the Deputy National Chairman for the North. Samuel Anyanwu retained his position as National Secretary, and Kolawal Olabisi was elected as National Treasurer.

Other key appointments included Mackson Odeyemei as Deputy National Treasurer, Lado Dan Mark as National Financial Secretary, Kamaldeen Ajibad as National Legal Adviser, and Jungudo Haruna Moham as National Public Secretary. A total of 21 members were elected to the NWC and subsequently sworn in at the event, which was attended by prominent party stakeholders, including former Senate President Bukola Saraki and former Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa.
