Ogun Police Recover Abandoned Stolen Vehicle, Seek Owner's Identification

The Ogun State Police Command recovered a suspected stolen silver Toyota RAV4 jeep abandoned in Abeokuta. The vehicle was found in the Somorin area of Obantoko on January 17, 2026.

The police, led by DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, took the vehicle to the station for safekeeping and are appealing to the public to assist in tracing the owner. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Command.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the abandonment and possible theft of the vehicle.
