Peter Obi Discusses Nigeria's Future at Berlin Roundtable

Peter Obi, a prominent political figure and former governor of Anambra State, attended a high-level roundtable in Berlin, Germany, organized by the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR). The event, titled "Nigeria 2027 and Beyond," focused on Nigeria's democratic journey and the need for international cooperation to accelerate economic growth and improve living conditions for Nigerians.

Obi discussed the importance of strengthening bilateral partnerships and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which he described as the backbone of Nigeria's economy. He reiterated his belief in Nigeria's human and natural resources, advocating for investments in education, healthcare, and strong institutions.

Obi expressed optimism about Nigeria's future, highlighting the need for good governance and fiscal responsibility. He thanked the ECFR for the invitation and emphasized the significance of fostering mutual understanding and building enduring partnerships that benefit Nigeria, Africa, and the global community.

He is expected to contest in the upcoming elections alongside Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar.
