São Tomé President Vila Nova Visits Nigerian Minister Matawalle in Abuja for Bilateral Talks

President Carlo Vila Nova of São Tomé and Príncipe visited the Nigerian Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, at his residence in Asokoro, Abuja. The visit included discussions on border security, growth, and cooperation between Nigeria and São Tomé.

President Vila Nova and his wife, Maria de Fátima Vila Nova, attended a wedding fatiha of Matawalle's children at the National Mosque in Abuja. The meeting also involved prominent figures like President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Matawalle and Vila Nova exchanged gifts, emphasizing diplomatic goodwill and the significance of the visit amidst Matawalle's family celebrations.
