PINL Disburses ₦2bn Scholarship to 600 Bayelsa Students

Pipelines Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL) announced the disbursement of ₦2 billion in scholarships for 600 students from Bayelsa, covering both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. This announcement was made during a stakeholder meeting held on Thursday, where PINL emphasized its commitment to education and community development.

The scholarships, ranging from ₦500,000 to ₦1,000,000, aim to alleviate the financial burden of education for the beneficiaries. Akponim Omojevw, the head of field operations for the Eastern Corridor project, highlighted the importance of collaboration with the Bayelsa community.

Akpo Mezeh, the general manager of community stakeholder relations at PINL, noted that the scholarship reflects the company's values in promoting education and human capital development. Students like Samuel, a civil engineering student at Niger Delta University, expressed gratitude for the support, while postgraduate student Albert emphasized the scholarship's potential to enhance academic performance.
