Bayelsa Students Awarded N2 Billion Scholarships by PINL

On Thursday, 600 undergraduate and postgraduate students from various private universities in Bayelsa State received scholarship funds from Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL), amounting to N2 billion. The beneficiaries, comprising both male and female students, are from communities hosting the Trans Niger Pipeline (TNP).

Dr. Akpo Mezeh, the General Manager of Community Relations at PINL, emphasized the company's commitment to education and human capital development in its host communities. He highlighted the importance of local surveillance, economic inclusion, and transparency in fostering long-term stability and sustainable development.

Students expressed gratitude for the scholarships, noting that they would enhance their academic performance and alleviate financial challenges. The initiative aims to empower students in various disciplines, including civil engineering and logistics management, to become valuable professionals in the future.
