Mutfwang Enhances Security in Plateau After Attacks

Following recent violent attacks in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has announced tightened security measures and a commitment to justice for victims. During his visit to the Nding community, Mutfwang met with local government chairman Stephen Pwajok and offered condolences to the families of victims.

He reassured residents that the government would not abandon them and emphasized the importance of protecting lives and properties across the state. Mutfwang commended security agencies for their swift response to the situation and noted that investigations would be conducted to identify and prosecute those responsible for the attacks.

He also held a meeting with religious leaders, traditional rulers, and youth representatives to discuss security concerns. Mutfwang reiterated a ban on night grazing and mining activities after 5 PM and urged livestock owners to supervise their children.

He promised additional security measures and support for farmers ahead of the planting season, emphasizing the need for peace to encourage tourism and investment in Plateau State.
