Muslim Survivor Credits Christian for Saving His Life

In a harrowing account from Rukuba community in Plateau State, a Muslim garden egg seller named Murtala described how a Christian man saved his life during a violent attack by gunmen. The incident occurred around 7:30 PM when Murtala was engaged in selling garden eggs.

As gunfire erupted, he and others sought refuge, with the Christian man quickly opening his house for Murtala to hide inside. Murtala expressed his gratitude, stating that despite the religious differences, good people exist everywhere.

He emphasized the importance of faith and the belief that Allah will reward kindness. The attack resulted in the tragic deaths of 28 individuals, leading Governor Caleb Mutfwang to confirm the fatalities and impose a curfew to manage the ensuing tension.

Murtala's friend, Hassan, who sells sugarcane, was unable to contact him due to a missed phone number. The governor assured residents that security forces would work diligently to track down the perpetrators.
