Anguwan Rukuba Residents Rewarded for Saving Lives

In a recent incident in Plateau State, residents of Anguwan Rukuba were rewarded with N1 million for their bravery in saving both Christians and Muslims during a violent attack by gunmen. The attack resulted in the deaths of at least 28 individuals.

Following the violence, community leaders and security agencies worked to ease tensions, and a curfew was relaxed two days later. Former member of the House of Representatives, Gwani Muhammad Adam Alkali, praised the residents for their humanitarian efforts, emphasizing the need for peace and coexistence among different faiths.

He urged others to emulate this act of kindness, stating that the residents prioritized humanity over religious differences. Muhammad Sulaiman from Anguwan Rogo echoed these sentiments, highlighting the community's achievement in protecting each other regardless of faith.
