Plateau and Lagos Triumph at 2nd Capital City Race in Ikeja

Plateau and Lagos states dominated the 2nd Capital City Race held in Ikeja, with Jonathan Jame winning the men's category and Aminat Adenik emerging victorious in the women's category. Adenik clocked 35 minutes 43.73 seconds to claim the women's title, while Jame finished the 10km race in 31 minutes 00.04 seconds.

The event attracted a significant number of participants, showcasing the growing interest in running competitions in Nigeria. Oladapo Ajayi, the race organizer, expressed ambitious plans to expand the race concept beyond Lagos to other states in Nigeria.
