Plateau PDP Elects New Chairman and 38 Officials in State Congress

The Plateau State chapter of the PDP conducted a state congress over the weekend, resulting in the election of Raymond Dabo as the new chairman along with 38 other officials. Notable winners include Gyang Tanko as the deputy chairman and Michael Dachom as the secretary.

The new chairman, in his acceptance speech, promised transparency, inclusivity, and reconciliation within the party. Governor Caleb Mutfwang urged the new executives to work towards leading the party to victory in the 2023 general elections.

The congress was attended by officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the swearing-in ceremony.
