Falconets in Pot 2 for FIFA U20 World Cup 2026

The Nigeria U20 Women's National Team, known as the Falconets, has been drawn into pot 2 ahead of the 12th FIFA U20 Women's World Cup, which will take place in Poland from September 5 to 27, 2026. The draw ceremony is set for Friday, with the tournament featuring 24 qualifying teams, including Nigeria, Benin Republic, Ghana, and Tanzania, representing Africa.

The Falconets, under the guidance of head coach Mose Aduk and team administrator Kelechi Omek, will make their eighth appearance in the tournament. The teams will be divided into six groups, with four teams emerging from each pot.

Notably, the tournament will see the participation of six debut hosts, including Poland, and will feature teams from various regions, including Europe, Asia, North and Central America, South America, and Oceania.
