Adamawa Police Alert Residents Ahead of Shooting Range Exercise

The Adamawa State Police Command has informed residents about a shooting range exercise scheduled to take place on February 7, 2026, from 8 am to 1 pm along Mubi Road in Girei Local Government Area. The exercise aims to enhance operational readiness and professionalism among the personnel, particularly the Special Protection Unit and Counter Terror Unit.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, emphasized the controlled nature of the training activity and assured the public that it poses no threat to safety. Residents have been advised to stay away from the exercise area during the specified period to avoid any panic due to the sound of gunshots.
