Nigerian Police Arrest 20-Year-Old Suspect in N1bn Scam Targeting US Victims

The Nigeria Police Force apprehended a 20-year-old suspect in Lagos for an alleged N1bn scam targeting victims in the US. The suspect, posing as a 60-year-old orthopedic surgeon, deceived victims into transferring large sums of money for fake investments, including a cryptocurrency scheme called Bullrun 2.0.

The suspect defrauded victims, including a 47-year-old woman and a 70-year-old woman, by falsely claiming to need funds for various reasons. Investigations by the police revealed the suspect's fraudulent activities and plans to arraign the suspect after further inquiries.
