Anambra Police Arrest Four Suspected Cultists, Recover Stolen Vehicle

The Anambra State Police Command has apprehended four suspected cultists in Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area, recovering a stolen vehicle. The suspects, identified as Hampo Chidieber, Chinonso Edeh, Chinedu Agu, and Abuchi Anigbogu, confessed to being members of a cult group terrorizing the community.

In a separate incident, two female suspects, Uzoma Nwabuez and Precious Mondai, were arrested in connection with the disappearance of a 16-year-old girl named Oluebub Chukwuma. The police operation, which involved the Special Anti-Cult Squad attached to the Obosi sector, was based on credible information leading to the arrests.

Investigations are ongoing to unravel the circumstances surrounding both cases, with a commitment from the police to ensure the safety and security of residents in Anambra State.
