Police Arrest 5 Suspected Cultists in Delta State Raid

In Delta State, the Police Command apprehended five suspected cultists in a raid at a hideout in Amai community, Ndokwa West Local Government Area. The arrested individuals were identified as Frank Etiyemon (36), Chinedu Emeka (25), Festu Nwadich (26), Azuju Onowu (29), and Ozor Bless (29).

The operation was carried out by the team from the Obiaruku Division on January 22, 2026. Bright Edaf, the spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, disclosed that the search of the premises led to the recovery of a locally made pistol, two battle axes, a quantity of Indian hemp, hard drugs, and various dangerous weapons.

The suspects are currently in police custody, and investigations are ongoing.
