Man Arrested in Kano Over Married Woman's Death

The Kano State Police Command confirmed the arrest of 41-year-old Lucki Isuma in connection with the death of a married woman identified as Sandra. The incident took place on April 11, 2026, when a report was lodged at the Sabon Gari police division.

Chidera Nwobi, a 22-year-old male residing at 47 Aitken Road, discovered Sandra lying unconscious in Isuma's room at approximately 10:30 AM. Upon examination, police found no visible signs of violence on her body.

She was subsequently taken to Muhammadu Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital, where medical personnel confirmed her death. CSP Abdullahi Haruna stated that the deceased's body will undergo an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for a thorough investigation, with assurances made to the public regarding the investigation's outcomes.
