Edo Police Arrest Three Suspects in Kidnapping Case

The Edo State Police Command arrested three suspects involved in kidnapping during a series of operations. The first suspect, Suleman Harruna, a 28-year-old from Niger Republic residing in Kogi State, was apprehended on February 17, 2026.

He was identified as a member of a notorious kidnapping gang. Following this, on February 20, 2026, Ibrahim Kodo, 25, from Illushi, was arrested, linked to a kidnapping incident from June 2, 2025.

A third suspect, Orse Iorzaa, 32, was arrested on February 26, 2026, after being identified in a five-man gang that abducted a victim on February 21, 2026. The police have intensified surveillance and operations in the Ubiaja division, leading to these arrests.

The command emphasized the importance of community cooperation in providing credible information to aid ongoing investigations and efforts to combat crime in the area.
