Kano Police Arrest Notorious Thug for Organized Thuggery and Violent Attacks

The Kano State Police Command has apprehended a notorious thug, Auwalu Ali, popularly known as Auwalu Dan Daba, for his alleged involvement in organized thuggery and violent attacks on residents of the state. The 26-year-old suspect was arrested on January 31 during an operation by the Dorayi Division, based on credible intelligence.

The police described him as coordinating a group that carried out attacks and robberies on innocent citizens. Following a distress call in the Sharada Quarter, the suspect, who was armed, faced a lynch mob attack that critically injured a female victim.

The injured woman was rushed to Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital in Kano, where police officers selflessly donated blood to save her life. The Police Commissioner, Ibrahim Bakori, commended the officers for their professionalism and sacrifice, particularly their blood donations, expressing gratitude to the people of Kano for their support and cooperation.
