Bauchi Police Arrest Armed Robbery Suspects in Metropolis

On an unspecified date, the Bauchi State Police Command arrested 22-year-old Yakubu Moham, also known as "World Boi," in connection with armed robbery incidents in Bauchi metropolis. Moham was implicated in the robbery of Shamsudeen, where he stole a Techno Pop 5 phone valued at 20,000 Naira and stabbed the victim.

The police spokesperson, SP Nafiu Habib, reported that investigations linked Moham to other crimes, including an earlier attack on Ijeoma Neony in Magaji Quarter, where he and his accomplice, Bala Moham, also known as "Balagu," stole an Infinix Smart 7 phone worth 120,000 Naira, along with 280,000 Naira in cash and a Rolex wristwatch valued at 35,000 Naira. Bala Moham was previously arrested for other offenses.

The police recovered two sharp knives and a Techno Pop 5 phone belonging to the first victim. Both suspects are expected to face prosecution in 2024.
