Police Arrest Pastor, 2 Others For Alleged Rape, Murder In Imo

Pastor Ikenna Emmanuel of Authentic Power City Church in Imo State, along with accomplice Franklin Chizoba, was arrested by police for allegedly raping and murdering a woman. The victim was lured to the pastor's residence on June 30, 2025, under the guise of receiving prayers, but was given a drink that made her dizzy.

The suspects then allegedly raped her. Both men were arrested after the victim reported the incident.

In a separate incident, Ifeanyi Odinka was arrested for stabbing his father to death over a land sale dispute. The suspects have confessed to their crimes and are awaiting trial.

The Imo State Police Command emphasized its commitment to combating crime and urged residents to report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
