Police Arrest Rivers Pastor Caught Flogging Unclad Children In Viral Video

Pastor Ifediorah Onyeibor Joseph of Rivers State was arrested by the police for allegedly dehumanizing and abusing children during a church program in Port Harcourt. The arrest was made following a viral video on social media showing at least 20 children, some naked, kneeling and being flogged with palm fronds by a man.

The police spokesperson, SP Grace, confirmed the arrest and stated that Pastor Ifediorah claimed the program was inspired by the Holy Spirit for spiritual cleaning. The Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, has called for calm as investigations are ongoing.
