Police Arrest Two Armed Robbery Suspects in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command arrested two suspected members of the Shilla Boys gang in connection with an alleged armed robbery that occurred on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at approximately 2300hrs. The suspects, identified as Bubakar Sadik Muhammed, aka Haske, and Hamma Jibrilla, aka Dzeco, allegedly attacked a complainant with dangerous weapons and stole three mobile handsets around Chinko, Jimeta.

Following a swift response from residents and intelligence-driven action by operatives from the Jimeta Divisional Police Headquarters, the suspects were apprehended. The police recovered two of the three stolen mobile handsets and one knife during the arrest.

Commissioner of Police for Adamawa State, CP Kabir Hassan, commended the operatives for their prompt response and reiterated the command's commitment to dismantling criminal gangs and ensuring public safety. He urged the community to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to the police.

The suspects are set to be charged in court after the investigation is completed.
