IGP Disu Commits to Support World PR Forum in Abuja

At the Force Headquarters in Abuja, Inspector General of Police Disu committed to supporting the World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) during a meeting with a delegation led by Dr Ike Neliaku, President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). Disu, a member of the NIPR, highlighted the importance of collaboration between the police and the public relations sector to foster public trust and improve communication with Nigerians.

Dr Neliaku invited the IGP to speak at the WPRF Abuja 2026, which aims to enhance global policing standards in areas such as strategic communication and reputation management. He also encouraged participation from police commands nationwide, stressing the significance of broad institutional engagement.

The NIPR delegation included notable figures such as Dr Omoniyi Ibetan, Dr Suleiman Haruna, Hajiya Maryam Sanusi, and others from various public relations and security organizations.
