Police Confirm Disruption of ADC Event in Cross River

The police in Cross River, represented by ASP Sundai Eitokpah, confirmed the disruption of an African Democratic Congress (ADC) political activity that took place on a Saturday. A viral video surfaced showing a thug ordering others to scatter the event, which included canopies, chairs, and sound systems.

The situation escalated to chaos, but police tactical teams intervened to prevent it from becoming a full-blown crisis. Despite the volatile nature of the area, no arrests were made.

This incident follows a similar disruption that occurred on Tuesday, where ADC activities in Calabar were also interrupted, prompting the party to raise alarms about attempts to hijack their organizational structure in the state.
