Police Block ADC Meeting Venue in Cross River

On March 10, 2026, police officers sealed off the venue scheduled for the inauguration of the ADC membership registration and revalidation committee in Cross River. The event was set to take place at 10:00 AM along Marian Road.

However, a police team cordoned off the venue as early as 7:00 AM to prevent party members from accessing the premises. This action followed a petition allegedly submitted by party members in an effort to resolve an ongoing situation, which proved unsuccessful.

Notably, senior ADC figures, including the South-South zonal vice chairman, met with the Commissioner of Police to address the issue. Despite the police presence, a large number of party members reportedly gathered in the vicinity.
