Police DPO Dies During Medical Treatment in Lagos State

CSP Matilda Ngbanoyen, a Divisional Police Officer in Festac, Lagos, passed away during medical treatment for fibroid at a hospital in Lagos State. The incident occurred on October 24, 2025, at 11:30 p.m.

The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the death and is making arrangements for her burial. CSP Ngbanoyen was described as a dedicated and disciplined officer who served in the Nigeria Police Force.
