Benue Police Update: 3 Officers Killed, 6 Suspects Arrested in Attack Response

The Police in Benue State provided an update on the recent attack on officers, revealing that three officers were killed and seven others allegedly abducted by suspected herders and local militia in Agu Centre. Six suspects have been arrested in response to the attack, with 15 more in custody.

Additional tactical assets have been deployed to restore calm and combat criminal activities in the state. The Force Public Relations Officer, Hundeyin, emphasized the ongoing raid against the criminal network.

The deployment of more resources aims to reinforce the operation and ensure the safety of officers and residents in Benue.
