Police Neutralize 4 Bandits in Benue State Operation

In Benue state, the Police Public Relations Office announced that four bandits were gunned down in Orokam during an operation by the Joint Task Force. The bandits, traveling in a black Golf 3 vehicle, resisted a routine search at a checkpoint and opened fire with AK-47 rifles.

In the ensuing gun duel, four suspects were neutralized while others escaped. The police recovered firearms, ammunition, and criminal charms from the scene.

Commissioner of Police Ifeanyi Emenari commended the officers for their bravery and urged the public to support law enforcement efforts. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the fleeing suspects and unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident.
