Kebbi Police Neutralize Bandit, Arrest 47 Suspects

The Kebbi State Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner Umar M. Hadejia, conducted operations that resulted in the neutralization of a bandit and the arrest of 47 suspects involved in banditry.

During these operations, the police recovered 40 firearms and various items, including 36 rounds of live ammunition, a Bajaj motorcycle worth N264,000, nine memory cards, four SIM cards, three Android phones, and one keypad phone. Two suspects, Aliyu Hussaini (23) from Minna, Niger State, and Sani Abubakar (28) from Nasarawa Burkullo, Zamfara State, were apprehended during a routine patrol along the Bena Mai Rai Rai road.

Additionally, Ashiru Muhammad (20) from Alabani Village near Makera was arrested for conspiring with others to snatch a Bajaj motorcycle. The police continue to intensify efforts against banditry in the region.
